Professional installation is recommended for suspension components.
Support the vehicle securely on a lift or jack stands before disassembly; enable Jack Mode on the touchscreen (Controls > Service > Jack Mode).
This part fits BOTH rear left and right sides – confirm quantity (2 pcs recommended per axle) before ordering.
Important: Support the stabilizer bar to neutralize preload before removing/installing the end link.
Counter-hold the ball stud (typically 5mm or 6mm hex) while loosening/tightening the nut (typically 14mm or 15mm) to prevent stud rotation.
Final torque should be applied at ride height (vehicle supported by wheels on ground or suspension loaded) to avoid premature bushing/ball joint wear.
Reference torque: ~70 Nm (51.6 ft-lbs) depending on Tesla service manual spec; always use new lock nuts.
