If the previous compressor failed internally, flush the condenser, evaporator and hoses; replace receiver drier / accumulator and expansion valve.
Evacuate the system under vacuum for at least 30 minutes and confirm stable vacuum before recharging to spec.
Verify clutch engagement, high/low side pressures and vent temperature after installation.
